VIrtual music & video creation collaboration for fun profit if and when possible.

I am no recording engineer. I do like to play around and record tunes just for the fun of it mostly. It this day and age gigs are not what they used to be. At least here in Denver Colorado where I happen to be. Most gigs around town these days pay the same as they did 30 years ago. All the clubs and bars sure don't charge the same for drinks. Since the birth of the Internet we have the opportunity to communicate with and pass files back and forth over the net. I thought wow it sounds like a good idea how ever not that many people are interested. To bad because these days all you need to do is make some music and a video place it on youtube click monetize and you can start making some money. Is there anyone out there tat wants to collab on a collection of songs get them on video upload them to youtube. Doesn't even have to be a great video. Here is one I put together using Cakewalk music creator and windows movie maker. Well it is still worth a try. I belong to a site called band hub. I cant find a lot of collabs remaking covers. I haven't had any response for collabs on originals. Its ok with me if it is just a hobby. I am 58 retired and I could use some music projects to work on. Make a comment if you are interested and maybe we can start on our first ep. Here is one I made using mp3 clips and a bunch of pictures. Enjoy the day! Peace!

Virtual band?

I have been considering the possibilities of forming a virtual band hosted at a website. I havent found a suitable software for the site as yet. It would be nice to be able to have a public front end to share the lastest music as well share/connect with other social media websites and a private back end for sharing audio files collaborating and creating new songs. It just seems to make sense since the cost of well everything is so high these days. I would say it doesnt matter if we are recording covers or originals or both. Everything all in one place. On the face or front end will also be all the promo you need to become active and book gigs. Something to think about anyway.

Kill - A - button machine gun effect

A rugged switch built to withstand high usage. No more wearing out the pickup toggle.  This switch is normal off  push to engage. It is simple to wire in directly to the jack the center wire solders to the hot side and the outer shield solders to the ground side. That's it and you are ready to  jam. When you push the button is closes the switch and creates a direct short cutting your output to zero release it and your back on with the heavy  duty spring is releases very quickly. Stainless steel  mechanism with silver contacts.

Custom backing tracks in about 3 minutes. I like the ease and quality of the tracks. You can customize your backing track in less than a minute download to your recording program and then ad your vocals or instrument or both. Its a great way to build demo's of your playing and singing. Seems the best way to find gig's these days is to have a webpage with audio and video showing your talent.
Here is an example I downloaded the backing track added my Bass and lead vox and its done. As you can see the backing track is very well done makes building a portfolio  or press kit a snap.
For what its worth

I found a great site to purchase custom backing tracks. I was looking for backing tracks to demo my bass and vocal abilities. If you want to put together a demo using studio quality tracks recorded by professional studio musicians this is the place. For fun or to build a professional press kit. You can customize every song if your a vocalist you mute the lead vocals then download to your hard drive import to your favorite recording software and add your own vox. The song files are saved on the server so you can change your master track mix  and download again. Its easy, Its inexpensive, and an easy way to build a demo especially for solo artists and duo's not to mention the fact that you can use your custom tailored backing tracks for live performance situations. Any way you want it.
Peace and enjoy !
